This is a 10 week program. Class time is from 10:00 am until 11:30 AM.
This is a 10 week program. No Refunds. Each person in the program will get a 10 class punch card. If a class or classes are missed the unused classes can be used towards another KB Studio class.
All Supplies will be provided, aprons, gloves and other items for creating the projects. Please wear clothes (play clothes) that won’t be affected by paint, resin or any other art related project.
Class size is limited to 8. Ages from 5 years old to 10 years old.

Week 1: Canvas Painting – Guided Acrylic Art - September 12th
Learn brush techniques, layering, and color mixing
Theme: Seasonal or holiday design (customize to the time of year)
Add glitter, metallic paints, or stencils for extra fun
Week 2: Resin Night Lights - September 19th
Learn the basics of working with resin and safety tips
Use crushed glass, beads, glitter, shells, etc.
Pour and set your design into a night light
Cure with UV Resin and enjoy that night.
Week 3: Watercolor Techniques - September 26th
Explore wet-on-wet, dry brush, and blending
Create a watercolor landscape, animal, or abstract piece
Week 4: Build-a-Stuffy & Paint-a-House - October 3rd
Stuff your own plush animal of choice 8 inch size
Paint a small wooden pet house or “stuffy house” to match
Give animal names and create a birth certificate for them
Week 5: Paint Pouring on Canvas or Wood - October 10th
Explore color theory, flow techniques, and negative space
Use pour cups, straws, or swipe techniques
Let dry flat; discuss how science meets art with this medium. These will need to dry overnight and can be picked up the next day or the next class
Week 6: Resin Faux Stained Glass - October 17th
Use a wood frame or shape as a base
Arrange crushed glass, colored beads, and stones
Seal with resin to create a sun catcher or framed art piece
Included fishing line to hang
Week 7: 2-D Wood Shapes - October 24th
Seasonal or themed cutouts (pumpkin, snowman, beach theme, etc.)
Use paints, glitter, paper, and embellishments
Add bow and string for hanging for display
Week 8: Ceramic Painting - November 14th
Painting a pre-made ceramic item
Use acrylic paints (gloss seal after drying)
Week 9: Wood Birdhouse Painting - November 21st
Paint and decorate a mini wooden birdhouse
Use stencils, stamps, or natural textures (bark, moss)
Option to learn about bird types in your region for STEM crossover
Week 10: Mixed Media Masterpiece - December 5th
Combine canvas, fabric, paper, beads, and other mediums
Create a collage-style "All About Me" or storytelling piece (please bring some personal items of choice, example paper printed out photos, tickets, drawings, cards, etc.)
